Spanish air force likely to take part in KADEX-2014 expo in Kazakhstan

Officials of the ministry as well as representatives of "NC "Kazakhstan Engineering" JSC, "Kazspecexport" Republican state enterprise and "Kazakhvzryvprom" JSC took active part in the bilateral negotiations in the Kazakh capital - Astana.

"The sides discussed the prospects for development of the Kazakhstani-Spanish military and military-technical cooperation and looked into the possibility of participation of the Spanish Air Force in the forthcoming KADEX-2014 exhibition in Kazakhstan," the press release of the ministry reads.

The international exhibition of armament and equipment KADEX is where the world's producers can see the potential of the Kazakh Armed Forces. It attracts the leading foreign companies to create a competitive environment and informs military specialists of the latests achievements in the sphere of defense.

Both major general Okas Saparov and Ambassador Larrotcha reiterated their interest in further strengthening of friendly ties between Kazakhstan and Spain in the sphere of defense.
