ASTANA. April 5. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Spain takes great security measures during elections than Kazakhstan. Senator of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Spain Luis Fraga has said it in an interview in Astana.
According to him, the early presidential elections were conducted without big problems; there were no incidents during them.
The Spanish Senator was impressed by activity of Kazakhstan's electorate. "Usually 50-60, sometimes 70 percent of population vote in Europe. If the number of voters is large, it is very good," L.Fraga said.
As the Senator stressed, cooperation with Kazakhstan is very important for Spain as the European and democratic state.
"Kazakhstan is a great factor of stability in this region. The presidential elections were held without large violations, in a calm atmosphere. I can only congratulate your country and the Kazakhstani people on successful elections. We wish the best future for your country," L.Fraga resumed.
