Soyuz TMA-18 spacecraft cosmonauts welcomed in Karaganda airport

KARAGANDA. September 25. KAZINFORM The Karaganda airport has held a meeting of cosmonauts Alexander Skvortsov and Mikhail Korniyenko and NASA astronaut Tracy Caldwell-Dyson of the Soyuz TMA-18 spacecraft.
Mayor Bauyrzhan Abdishev, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Air Transport of the Russian Federation Alexander Vedernik, charge d'affaires of Russia in Kazakhstan Vladimir Sprinchan welcomed the cosmonauts.
"This meeting for us is very significant event", the Karaganda Mayor said.
Alexander Vedernik expressed gratitude to the crew members. "You made one more step in space conquest by the mankind", he emphasized wishing rehabilitation to the cosmonauts at the earth.
