Soyuz TMA-12M spacecraft docks with ISS

BAIKONUR. KAZINFORM - March 28 03 a.m. 53 minutes 33 seconds Moscow time the manned transport spacecraft (MTS) "Soyuz TMA-12M" has docked to the docking port of the mini research module (MRM2) "Search" of the International Space Station (ISS) Russian segment (RS), the press service of the Russian Space Agency reports.
39/40th long expedition crew consisting of Roscosmos astronauts Alexander Skvortsov and Oleg Artemyev and NASA astronaut Steven Swanson has arrived at the ISS. Rendezvous and docking operations were carried out in automatic mode under control of the crew and specialists of the Moscow-area Mission Control Center. It bears to remind that Soyuz TMA- 12M was launched from the Baikonur spaceport on March 26. It was unable to dock with the ISS on the short, six-hour rendezvous scheme, thus, it switched to regular two-day mode docking with the ISS.
