Soyuz rocket blasts off with six Globalstar-2 satellites

ASTANA. February 7. KAZINFORM A Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket with six Globalstar-2 satellites was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome at 10:04 p.m. Astana time on Wednesday, the Kazakh Ministry of Emergencies told Kazinform.
To eliminate the possible effects associated with the launch rescue forces and emergency departments of Kyzylorda, Karaganda, Pavlodar and East Kazakhstan regions were on high alert from 8:04 p.m. to 11:04 p.m. on February 6.
