South Korea interested in supplying cabbage from Kyrgyzstan for kimchi

The Kyrgyz capital city of Bishkek hosted a B2B meeting with the Korean Importers Association KOIMA, where domestic entrepreneurs in the spheres of dairy products, textiles, beekeeping, heavy industry and winemaking met, Kabar reports.

Kyrgyz Export reported that, at B2B negotiations, participants of the companies of both sides presented brief reports on their activities and products.

Also, within the framework of business meetings, KOIMA Chairman Kim Byung-Kwan expressed interest in growing in Kyrgyzstan and supplying cabbage for kimchi to the South Korean market.

The delegation will also visit domestic enterprises in the next two days to familiarize with the production process of domestic products.

The Korean Importers Association (KOIMA) is a non-profit organization that supports imports into South Korea. It helps Korean companies find foreign suppliers, organizes business forums and exhibitions, provides information on global markets and protects the interests of importers at the national level.
