Songs from famous films to be performed on the stage of “Astana Opera” theatre

Nostalgia will be induced by music compositions from the following films: "Birzhan Sal", "Makhabbat Station", "White Bim Black Ear", "Beware of the Car", "A Cruel Romance", "Our Kind Doctor", "Once Upon a Time in America", "Office Romance", etc.

The evening will be presented by brilliant theatre soloists Tatyana Vitsinskaya, Zhamilya Djarkimbayeva, Bagdat Abilkhanov, Balzhan Saparova and others.

The conductor and the author of the concert, laureate of republican contests Idrisov Alikhan notes, that the symphony orchestra of "Astana Opera" theatre can perform any kind of music, including music from movies.

"Potpourri "Music from Leonid Gaidai's movies" will be very interesting, everyone knows his songs. This concert will be continued in the future, we are going to represent music from children's films and modern movies as well", Alikhan Idrisov notes.

Melodies, which will be performed there, became popular thanks to creative work of outstanding composers. Work of Alexander Zatsepin, famous as a composer and a song writer, will be widely presented at the concert.

"Zatsepin started his creative career in Almaty by completing a conservatory there. He wrote his first music to "Our Kind Doctor" - a movie which is very popular in Kazakhstan. All song there were performed by famous singers Ermek Serkebayev and Bibigul Tulegenova", the press service notes.

Work of Steven Spielberg will be also widely presented reflecting global themes. This film director is famous for the fact that he gave his fee for "Schindler's List" to the Shoah Fund, and this music will also be performed at the concert.

The concert will take place on March 28 at 19.30, thicket cost is 1 500 KZT.
