Snubbed Subway cook chops waitress into pieces in Siberia
Investigators say that the 24-year-old cook, named only as Sergei, killed 20-year-old Maria after she refused to go on a date with him. Both were employed at a branch of the U.S. fast food franchise Subway, wrote the Komsomolskaya Pravda daily on Wednesday.
Sergei is alleged to have killed Maria at the end of the night shift on July 17 when the two were alone in the building. Investigators say he chopped her up into small parts, put her body parts into waste disposal bags and dumped them in the garbage the next morning. He then went back to work.
"The girl's dismembered body was found by tramps," investigator Alina Shcherbakova said.
Police say the motive for the murder was "a disagreement", Kazinform cites RIA Novosti. See www.en.rian.ru for full version.
