Snowstorms to sweep Kazakhstan on Wednesday

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Heavy snowstorms and blizzard will affect the entire territory of Kazakhstan today. According to Kazhydromet, Kazakhstan's national forecaster, fog, sleet and stiff winds are also expected in most parts of the country, except for western Kazakhstan.
Freak winds gusting up to 23 meters per second and sleet will torment residents of Kostanay region. Strong wind, sleet and blizzard will take hold of Pavlodar, Karaganda, Akmola, North Kazakhstan and East Kazakhstan regions. Bleak wind will gust through Zhambyl, South Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, Mangystau, Almaty and Aktobe regions.
