Snow to grip east and north of Kazakhstan Wed
Unsteady weather lingering throughout Kazakhstan is bringing today, September 25, thundershowers to the country’s greater part, snow to the east, and snow and rain mixed to the north, Kazinform News Agency quotes Kazhydromet.
Weather without precipitation is expected today in the northwest and central part of Kazakhstan with high wind and fog predicted locally.
The high fire threat remains in effect in Aktobe, Karaganda, Ulytau, Zhetysu, West Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, East Kazakhstan, Abai and Kostanay regions.
Mangistau, Kyzylorda, Turkistan, Zhambyl, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan, Ulytau, Abai, Karaganda, Almaty and Aktobe regions are forecast to brace today for the extremely high fire hazard locally.
Earlier it was reported snowfall was forecast in Kazakhstan’s north Sep 24.
