The peculiarity of the exercises is the fact that five snipers from Kyrgyzstan take part in the training along with the servicemen of the airmobile forces of Kazakhstan, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan informs. "The nature of today's wars and armed conflicts dictates the significance of snipers: their ability to provide fire from a long distance with a great accuracy without revealing their locations makes them simply irreplaceable in the mountains and localities. Therefore, improvement of snipers' professionalism is the main goal of the exercises," Commander-in-Chief of the Army Lieutenant General Murat Maikeyev told. Practical training the servicemen draws the greatest interest, because unbiased results of the shooting demonstrate the qualification and skills of snipers. Besides, along with the firearms training, the snipers learn more and improve their skills in terms of orientation and working in the mountains. The international component of the training provides for the exchange of experience between the specialists. The exercises will finish on February 8.
