Slovak President met with U.Mukhamedzhanov

ASTANA. March 30. KAZINFORM Development of the bilateral cooperation, interaction within the international organizations and interparliamentary integration were discussed in the Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament today during the visit of Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic. The high guest was received by Majilis Chairman Ural Mukhamedzhanov, the press service of the House reports.

Agreement of two states in all international issues, support of the Kazakh President's initiative on holding of the OSCE Summit by Slovakia, increase of trade turnover in last six years and its ten-percent growth in 2009 despite the financial crisis were discussed at the meeting.

The Kazakh Parliamentarian and the Slovak President complimented the dynamic of bilateral relations and agreed that it is necessary to ratify a range of agreements signed by the Kazakh President in Bratislava during his visit to Slovakia in 2007.

A wide range of issues, in particular, the Trans-Asian Forum of Parliamentarians in Kazakhstan in May this year, extension of the Interparliamentary cooperation at the level of deputies and permanent committees, local executive authorities were discussed as well.
