Sixth Session of the Group of Experts on the Euro-Asian Transport Links (EATL) to meet Jul 5

ALMATY. July 2. KAZINFORM Almaty hosts the Sixth Session of the Group of Experts on the Euro-Asian Transport Links (EATL) on July 5, co-arranged by the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), the Kazakh Government and the OSCE Secretariat and the OSCE Centre in Astana.
During the three-day session a Group of Experts will discuss recent developments related to the project "Euro-Asian Tranport Links (EATL) including implementation of transport infrastructure projects, facilitation of transport through the elimination of on non-physical obstacles, appropriate data collection, use of the OSCE Guidelines and UNECE's best practices for border crossing as a possible tool for promoting international traffic development in the region. The event will be attended by national co-ordinators of the EATL project, government agency representatives from Central Asian and other EATL member countries as well as private sector organizations and financial institutions.
