Situation in ArcelorMittal Temirtau stabilizes - F. Pannier

AGANDA. July 17. KAZINFORM / Valentina Yelizarova/ "Metallurgical production gathers pace despite the difficulties", Director General of ArcelorMittal Temirtau Frank Pannier has said addressing the metallurgists of Temirtau on the threshold of their professional holiday - the Day of Metallurgists.
According to the Company's press service, last October Temirtau produced only 150 thousand tons of steel. In June, 2009 this figure was raised up to 250 thousand tons. In July the volume of sale will hit 260 thousand tons of products, he noted.
"We could achieve such results due to the strategic course and successful execution of the
anti-crisis program developed by the Company's board in close interaction with the regional authorities and the Kazakh Government. The memorandums on anti-crisis cooperation, social partnership are carried out", F. Pannier highlighted.
