Sitting of CIS Internal Ministers Council to be held in St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG. September 17. KAZINFORM /Yelena Myagkova/ A regular sitting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS member countries will be held on September 17 in St. Petersburg, the press service of Executive Committee of the CIS informs.
The topics to discuss will be combating terrorism, human trafficking, interaction with the Interpol and ensuring human rights. The ministers will also discuss the issue on establishing common database of fingerprints, communication systems, etc.
It should be reminded that since the establishment of the CIS strengthening stability and security has been a priority of the integration.
It is planned to consider draft projects of the programs on joint measures to fight terrorism, drug trafficking, human trafficking and other extremism consequences at the regular sitting of the CIS Council of Heads of State scheduled for December of this year.
