MOSCOW. February 15. KAZINFORM. The head of Rusnano state-run nanotechnologies corporation, Anatoly Chubais, believes that the site for Russia's Silicon Valley should be found already in 2010; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
"This year it will become known where this project will be implemented. We have a set of venues and most probably, this will be the Moscow region or, may be, we will choose another site," he said on Monday.
"The project of such a scale will take not years, but decades. However, the contours of the project can become visible in five years," he said.
Chubais stressed that this project "is effort-consuming, but very interesting; the risks are high." However, "this can be and should be done in Russia"; Kazinform cites Itar-Tass.
