Single customs territory to be established between Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus

MINSK. May 29. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ Single customs territory is supposed to start functioning from July 1, 2011 between Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
?We agreed to submit for consideration of Heads of the Governments the agreement on terms and stages of formation of the Customs Union that supposes establishment of the Customs Union on the territories of three countries by July, 2011?, Kazakh First Deputy Prime Minister Umirzak Shukeyev said at the briefing upon the results of the V session of the commission of the Customs Union.
As earlier reported the establishment of the Customs Union is scheduled for January 1, 2010.
U.Shukeyev said that the Heads of the Governments will be able to approve the project of the single Customs Tariff at the session of the EurAsEC Interstate Council in Moscow on June 9, 2009.
