Single currency, single economic union in CIS to simplify solution of many problems: B.Irishev

The opinion of B.Irishev on the correlation of the world currencies - dollar, euro and yuan - was of special interest. Thus, today the euro has good perspectives conditioned by its interstate status. Besides, the European monetary system is managed by the European Central Bank which is not subordinated to any of the Euro zone countries. As a result, the creation of euro benefits all EU member states.

According to the lecturer, the dollar is in trouble today. However, the state of the American economy (the GDP in particular) shows that the impact of this currency will remain yet. The yuan will strengthen in the nearest future.

Speaking of Kazakhstan the scientist said that had not enough information. However, he is pretty optimistic about the perspectives of the Kazakh tenge. The fact that the position of the national currency depends on commodity prices complicates the situation. B.Irishev considers it appropriate to establish a Single Economic Union and a single currency in the CIS. This would simplify the solution of many existing problems.
