Singapore hosted road show on investment potential of Kazakhstan

The event was organized by the National Agency for Export and Investment "KAZNEX INVEST", with the support of the Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan, the Kazakh Embassy in Singapore and Singaporean company "JURONG Consultants".

In his welcome address, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Singapore Yerlan Baudarbek-Kozhatayev invited Singaporean companies to do business in Kazakhstan. He also noted the high level of political contacts and trade and economic relations of the two states.

During the event, potential investors of Singapore were presented investment opportunities of Kazakhstan special economic zones, in particular, "Park of innovative technologies", new initiative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to work with investors, as well as government support measures.
Singapore side attended the show was represented by more than 50 organizations and leading companies including "IDA International", "International Enterprise Singapore", "Singapore Manufacturing Federation", "ITOCHU Singapore", "NEC Corporation", "Global Business Groups", "Igawara Industrial Service" and Trading", "ST Electronics"»and others.

Kazakhstan delegation included representatives of the Presidential Administration, the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan, Kazakh-British Technical University, and others.

The event also held a number of bilateral meetings with such companies as "ITE Education Services", "CrimsonLogic", "ITOCHU Singapore", "EMBRAER Asia Pacific", "Surbana International Consultants", "SIPM Consultants", "Leong Siew Weng Engineering" and "Hong Kong Daji Investment", which have expressed interest in cooperation with Kazakhstan. A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between "KAZNEX INVEST" and "Singapore Philippine Tech Venture".
