Signing of economic documents within Kazakh President's visit to Germany to strengthen relations between countries

There was held an exchange of opinions on a wide range of issues of bilateral economic and investment cooperation. The Vice Chancellor noted that Kazakhstan is an important economic partner of Germany in the CIS and Central Asia.

P.Rösler outlined the potential of the Kazakh economy, an the fact that signing of a solid package of economic documents during a visit of the Kazakh President to Germany in February will further strengthen the relations between Germany and Kazakhstan. In this context the German Minister noted importance of the President Nursultan Nazarbayev's upcoming visit to Berlin.

The Kazakh diplomat, in turn, informed the talker of the main provisions of the State-of-the-Nation Address as of January 27, which determines main priorities of socio-economic and industrial development of Kazakhstan. In this connection N.Onzhanov named a number of specific infrastructural and social projects, which are implemented in Kazakhstan within the industrialization program. The attention was paid to an opportunity of active cooperation in the sphere of vocational technical training, where Germany has leading positions in the world and its experience could be in-demand in Kazakhstan.

Taking into account Germany's achievements in development of the sector of metallurgy, chemical field, agroindustrial complex and medicine, the sides expressed a common opinion on necessity of expansion of interaction of the two countries in these directions.

Taking into account that this year Kazakhstan and Germany mark the 20^th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations, Philipp Rösler wished the two countries further confidential political dialogue and expansion of partnership relations in the sphere of economy.
