Shymkent to host international forum on green economy

The forum will be attended by reps of national ministries, companies, development institutes, foreign diplomatic missions, international organizations, big foreign and domestic companies. Businessmen from the U.S., Russia, Germany, Italy, Poland, China, Bulgaria, South Korea, Malaysia and other countries are expected to participate as well. Role of the regions in holding of the upcoming EXPO-2017 event and possible long-term cooperation between Kazakhstani and foreign companies will be discussed at the forum. Participants of the forum will also focus on ‘green economy' as the global development trend, on the Concept of transition to ‘green economy', modern waste management systems, etc. Renewable energy sources and innovative development of Kazakhstan are to be debated as well. The forum will start at 9:00 a.m. at Shymkent Congress Center on November 28.
