"Shopping is GREAT Britain" Fashion Showcase held in Astana

ASTANA. October 30. KAZINFORM On October 26, the British Embassy Astana, in cooperation with iconic British brands Debenhams, Karen Millen, Monsoon, and Next joined together for a day of fashion in the British designed Khan Shatyr shopping complex in Astana.
The day began with a brand fair in the atrium of the Khan Shatyr from 3pm and included promotional sales, Autumn/Winter catalogues and quizzes. Her Majesty's Ambassador to Kazakhstan, David Moran, then opened the main event of the evening, a catwalk show from each of the four fashion brands presenting their new collections Autumn/Winter 2012-13. The fashion show ran from 5-7:30pm. The evening closed with a music mix of British and pop favourites spun by DJ Fara, the press service of the British Embassy Astana said.
This showcase was a celebration of true British style and design, giving participants a chance to experience some of what makes London the shopping capital of the world and shopping so GREAT in Britain.
