 "Thus, the importance of holding such conferences that defend the established thurths embedded in the depth of human history is clearly demonstrated and which, alas, some tendencies seek to reverse its march by claiming that history will end up at the final stage in the fold of a particular pattern which will achieve dominance and hegemony; or the inevitable confrontation between civilizations. They do so in order to trigger apprehension and feelings of a constant danger of a cultural adversary - real or imaged - that must be undoubtedly be confronted.

These claims do not express the true relationship among civilizations which are based on integration and competition to provide the best ways and means to make the human society a happy entity", World Islamic League Secretary General said addressing the high level meeting.
