Severe storm damages track on Georgian-Turkish border

TBILISI. January 31. KAZINFORM A strong storm in the Black Sea damaged the central route, which connects Georgia and Turkey in the area of border crossing point Sarpi. As reported by Georgian TV, a few kilometers on asphalt road collapsed, there were deep cracks, which are caused by leaching of the soil under the road; Kazinform refers to Trend.

Fortunately, nobody was hurt during the collapse of the road.
Movement on the track was stopped for safety reasons. Traffic on the Georgian-Turkish border is implemented through the bypass, through the old road.
Traffic departments of the two countries are discussing the possibility of the road recovery; Kazinform cites Trend.
