Several minor quakes registered in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE. November 15. KAZINFORM Several earthquakes have been registered in Tajikistan starting from 5 am, Moscow time, on Monday. They occur with the interval of 30 to 40 minutes, sources from the Dushanbe seismic station told Tass; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
They said three earthquake shocks have been fixed over the past two hours. All quakes were registered about 85 kilometres southwest of Dushanbe. The magnitude of the first quake was 4.4 on the Richter Scale, the second one measured 4.9 on the Richter Scale. The power of the third earth tremor has not been measured as of yet.
All three quakes were felt in a densely populated area of the republic, including capital Dushanbe. The Rogun hydropower station under construction is also situated in that area. There have been no reports about destruction.
