Several bilateral documents inked during Kazakh President's visit to Uzbekistan

The Presidents of the two states signed their Joint Statement. The agreement on mutual allotment of land plots for the construction of diplomatic missions was signed between the two governments. The programs of cooperation were inked between the ministries of foreign affairs of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan for 2010-2011 and between the Ministry of Culture of Kazakhstan and Ministry for Cultural and Sports Affairs of Uzbekistan for 2010-2012.

The diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan were established on November 23, 1992. The Eternal Friendship Agreement and Agreement on Enhancement of Economic Cooperation are the fundamental documents in the countries' relations. The trade turnover between the states amounted to USD 1 billion 196 million last year.
