Several agreements signed during Kazakh President's visit to Zhambyl region

TARAZ. May 24. KAZINFORM Agreements on "Eurochem" investment project and production of shunting locomotives in Shu town, Zhambyl region, were signed during the working visit of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Taraz.
Akim (governor) of the Zhambyl region Bozumbayev reported to Kazakh President on the progress of implementation of Forced Industrial Innovative Development Program in the region, "Business Road Map 2020", as well as the plant to build new facilities in 2012 - 2014.
The Kazakh President got familiarized with the operation of the Taraz Metallurgical Plant.
Kazakh Minister of Industry and new Technologies Asset Issekeshev and the "Eurochem" chief Dmitry Sterzhnev signed a joint action plan on realization of the "Eurochem" investment project. In addition, a company and JSC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" signed a contract on establishment of joint venture for production of shunting locomotives.
