"We need to accelerate the implementation of primary petrochemical projects. In fact, in addition to transport engineering, a new industry is being created in Kazakhstan. It is necessary to put into operation a bitumen plant in April 2013. This is an "old" project," Akhmetov stated.

The plant is almost completed. We must stop the practice of extending the deadline. The deadline was December 2012. Now, April is the final due date. This road construction season we must have our own bitumen. To this there is every reason," said The Prime Minister.

The investment project "Production of road bitumen at Aktau Plastics Plant" was planned to be completed in late December 2012. This plant is one of the largest petrochemical projects of the state program of forced industrial-innovative development of Kazakhstan.
