Serbian President to make state visit to Kazakhstan this week

Official Spokesman of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs Askar Abdrakhmanov has said it at a briefing.

The Kazakh MFA's representative emphasized that this high-level visit is the first one in the history of the Kazakh-Serbian relations.

"It opens a new page in bilateral relations, is called to give impetus to expansion and deepening of political dialog, economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between Astana and Belgrade", A.Abdrakhmanov noted.

It is planned that within the visit B.Tadić will negotiate with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Prime Minister Karim Massimov and Majilis Chairman Ural Mukhamedzhanov.

"It is expected to sign a number of documents on expansion of bilateral cooperation and holding a roundtable with participation of business circles of Kazakhstan and Serbia", he resumed.
