Serb police find stolen Cezanne masterpiece

PARIS. April 13. KAZINFORM Serbian police have uncovered a masterpiece by French impressionist Paul Cezanne, which was stolen from a Zurich museum nearly four years ago.

The Boy In A Red Waistcoat was snatched by masked robbers from a private gallery in the Swiss city in 2008 along with three other paintings, the Euronews reports..
It is believed to have a price tag of 85 million euros. Serb authorities said that a foreign art expert flew from Switzerland to authenticate the painting.
The robbery at the Zurich museum was one of the biggest art thefts in Europe at the time. Witnesses said the robbers spoke German with a Slavic accent.
The three other masterpieces were by Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh and Edgar Degas.
