Senators visit Operational Control Center of Customs Control Committee

ASTANA. February 24. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Members of the Finance and Budget Committee of the Kazakh Senate have visited the Operational Control Center of the Customs Control Committee of the Kazakh Ministry of Finance, Kazinform correspondent reports.
Chairman of the Customs Committee Kozy-Korpesh Karbuzov told about the Center?s work having emphasized that implementation of an integrated control providing for presence of only two representatives of two state bodies ? border and customs control committees, allows to reduce time for border crossing. After the introduction of an automated control system the time of border crossing will be reduced up to 40-50 minutes.
According to K. Karbuzov, the third part of all drugs withdrawn on the territory of Kazakhstan is revealed during the customs control.
