Senators discussed bill on granting of land for Kyrgyz Embassy in Astana

ASTANA. February 8. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The bill "On ratification of the Agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan on mutual granting of buildings and land for use in the cities of Astana and Bishkek for the needs of the Kazak Embassy in Kyrgyzstan and the Kyrgyz Embassy in Kazakhstan" was discussed today at the meeting of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan.
Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mr. Rapil Zhoshybayev representing the bill noted that in accordance with the Agreement the Kyrgyz side granted a building of 531.66 square meters total and a land of 0.17 ha area in Bishkek to Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan, in its turn, granted a building of 555.9 square meters total area and a land of 0.247 ha area in Astana for needs of the Kyrgyz Embassy.
The Committee decided to submit the bill for the consideration of the Senate.
