Senate Speaker receives British Ambassador

ANA. September 18. KAZINFORM. Chairman of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UK to Kazakhstan Paul Brummell in connection with the completion of his diplomatic mission in our country; Kazinform refers to the Senate's press service.
During the talk the parties expressed satisfaction with the achieved level of the Kazakh-British relations including development of the interparliamentary contacts.
K. Tokayev thanked Mr. Brummell for his work on deepening of equal in rights and mutually beneficial cooperation and extended him a letter of gratitude.
In his turn the British diplomat thanked K. Tokayev for his activity on development and strengthening of the Kazakh-British relations and interparliamentary cooperation. He expressed confidence that forthcoming chairmanship of Kazakhstan in the OSCE would be successful and efficient.
