Senate Speaker congratulates Chinese Embassy's staff on country's 60th anniversary

The Senate Speaker congratulated the staff of the Chinese Embassy and Chinese people on the holiday. As K. Tokayev noted, friendly China had become an authoritative and weighty country over this period.

"Today we can say with confidence that China is one of the cornerstones of ensuring peace and security over the globe", K. Tokayev said.

He also noted that centuries-long friendship between the Kazakhs and Chinese had stood the test of time and to date the relations of the two countries set the best pattern of true good-neighborhood and mutual respect.

"Kazakhstan-China relations are quite promising. Our countries possess huge potential in many spheres of cooperation. This fully meets strategic national interests of Kazakhstan and strivings of both countries", the Senate Speaker resumed.
