Senate Speaker called Mangystau region residents to remain calm

ASTANA. December 21. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ At a plenary session Chairman of the Kazakh Senate Kairat Mami appealed to the residents of Mangystau region calling to preserve peace.
"Guarantee of sustainable development of our society is unity of the people and public concord," K.Mami said.
The Speaker said that, in his opinion, disorders in the town of Zhanaozen of Mangystau region occurred on December 16 were organized by the persons interested in destabilization in Kazakhstan.
K.Mami expressed confidence that the riots organizers will be identified and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
