Senate ratifies protocol to Madrid agr't on international registration of marks

ASTANA. May 6. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Senate of the Kazakhstan Parliament has adopted the Law "On Ratification of the Protocol relating to the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks" at its plenary session today.
The protocol ratification is aimed at simplifying the procedure of registration and establishing individual duties. Besides, it gives an opportunity to fill in an application using one of the three languages - German, English or Spanish. The Protocol was adopted on June 27, 1989.
