Senate ratified loan agreement between Kazakh Government and Japan International Cooperation Agency

ASTANA. April 21. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Senate of the Kazakh Parliament adopted the Law 'On ratification of the loan agreement between the Government of Kazakhstan and Japan International Cooperation Agency for the project on reconstruction of the CAREC Transport Corridor (Zhambyl region)".
The loan of 6.361 billion yen is granted for 25 years. Co-financing of the Kazakh Government will not exceed USD 40 million. Funds from the republican budget will be spent on co-financing of construction works, as well as payment of taxes.
