Senate ratified Kazakh-Kyrgyz Agreement on granting of land for Embassies

ASTANA. February 10. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan adopted the Law 'On On ratification of the Agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan on mutual granting of buildings and land for use in the cities of Astana and Bishkek for the needs of the Kazak Embassy in Kyrgyzstan and the Kyrgyz Embassy in Kazakhstan'.
Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mr. Rapil Zhoshybayev representing the bill noted that in accordance with the Agreement the Kyrgyz side granted a building of 531.66 square meters total and a land of 0.17 ha in Bishkek to Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan, in its turn, granted a building of 555.9 square meters and a land of 0.247 ha in Astana for needs of the Kyrgyz Embassy.
