Senate ratified amendments to state immunity and arbitration courts laws

ASTANA. September 24. KAZINFORM / Muratbek Makulbekov / - The Senate of Kazakhstan's Parliament has approved the draft law on amendments and addenda to some legislative acts on the state immunity and property, improvement of the activity of arbitration courts and international commercial arbitration at the plenary meeting today.
Kazakh Minister of Justice Rashid Tussupbekov pointed out the need to amend legislation related on the fact that existing laws contain several contradictory and ambiguous forms which create problems in applying them to arbitration and arbitral tribunals.
"After the adoption of proposed rules on State immunity and property, our legislation will comply with the legislation of foreign states in terms of jurisdictional issues", - R. Tussupbekov said.
