Senate ratified agr't on EBRD activity in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. January 23. KAZINFORM At today's plenary sitting the Kazakh Senate adopted the Law "On ratification of the Agreement between Kazakhstan and the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) concerning cooperation and activity of the Bank in Kazakhstan".
The said agreement was signed in Istanbul last May 11. It also foresees inviolability of the Bank's archives in addition to its immunities and privileges. Besides, the Bank's property shall enjoy immunity wherever located and by whoever held. The Bank's property and revenue are exempt from direct taxation," acting Finance Minister of Kazakhstan Ruslan Dalenov said introducing the draf law.
