Senate OKs mutual assistance in criminal matters between Kazakhstan, Spain

ASTANA. October 4. KAZINFORM Kazakhstani Senate passed the law "On ratification of the Convention between Kazakhstan and Spain on mutual assistance in criminal matters."
According to Deputy Prosecutor General Iogan Merkel, the Convention between Kazakhstan and Spain was signed in June 2011 thanks to friendly relations between the two countries. The document provides performance of legal proceedings, disposal of real evidence and seizure of criminally-obtained property.
