Senate discussed ratification of Agreement on Russian-Kazakh coop in maritime transport

ASTANA. February 23. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Bill ?On ratification of the Agreement between the Governments of Russia and Kazakhstan on cooperation in the field of maritime transport? was discussed at the enlarged session of the Committee on Economic and Regional Policy of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament, Kazinform reports.
As Kazakh Vice Minister of Transport and Communication Zhenis Kassymbekov noted, the Agreement, signed on October 4, 2007 in Novosibirsk is aimed at regulating and developing relations between Kazakhstan and Russia in the field of maritime transport and provision of effective coordination in the shipping industry.
Upon the discussion the Committee decided to introduce the bill for consideration of the House with recommendation of its adoption.
