Senate discussed bills on customs procedures

ASTANA. January 21. KAZINFORM. Bills, concerning the ratification of the Agreement on transaction of customs statistics of external and mutual trade, evaluation of customs commodity cost of goods, transported through customs border of the customs union, on general rules of definition of country of origin of goods, and International Convention on simplification and harmonization of customs procedures, have been discussed at the Committee for Finance and Budget of the Senate today, Kazinform refers to the press service of the House.
The bills were developed in order to form legislative base of the customs union of Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia.
The Agreements will act towards the goods, transported through the borders of the customs union member states.
The convention is a universal international agreement of interstate character, adopted within the World Customs Organization. Today 174 states are the participants of the Organization, 59 countries of which are the participants of the Convention.
The bill, introducing amendments to the legislation on the issues of organization and activity of Islamic banks and organizations of Islamic financing was considered at the session as well.
The main purpose of the bill is creation of legislative base of functioning of Islamic banks, Islamic special financing company and introduction of instruments of Islamic financing.
Amendments are introduced to the Civil and Tax Codes, the Law ?On banks and bank activity?, ?On stock market?, ?On investment funds?, ?On obligatory guaranteeing of deposits, disposed in the second-tier banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan?.
All bills are sumbitted for consideration of the House.
