Senate discussed and ratified package of documents on Customs Union

The deputies discussed and ratified 15 documents on the Customs Union. Intergovernmental Agreements between Kazakhstan and Russia, Kazakhstan and USA on further cooperation in development of the Kazakh-German University in Almaty, on provision of commercial railway transit of special cargo through the territory of Kazakhstan in the context of USA participation in stabilization and reconstruction of Afghanistan were ratified as well.

Besides, the Protocol on amendments to the intergovernmental Agreement between Kazakhstan and China on cooperation in construction and exploitation of Kazakhstan-China gas pipeline as of August18, 2007 was adopted.

The Agreement between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates on rendering legal assistance in civil and commercial matters; intergovernmental Agreements between Kazakhstan and Russia, Kazakhstan and France on the Baikonur complex attendance order, on conditions of establishment and use of the space remote sensing system and spacecrafts assembly and testing plant were ratified as well.

Agreement between Kazakhstan and International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) on loan for support of the development program, Laws on amendments to the Law "On international agreements of Kazakhstan" and to the current legislation on the issues of mobilization preparation and mobilization and on the issues of insurance were adopted upon the results of discussion.
