Senate did not approved Majilis's amendments to Customs Code

ANA. October 1. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Kazakhstan's Senate has considered the draft Law "On amendments to the Customs Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan" in the second reading at the plenary session today
The Senators made some amendments to the draft Law. In particular, they clarified standards, which touch upon competence of the customs authorities in the sphere of intellectual property protection. Referring to a number of positions of the Constitution, regulatory resolutions of the Constitutional Council, the Senators propose substitute the words "by the current Code" for the words "by the legislation of the republic of Kazakhstan".
After the discussion it was decided to forward the draft Law to the Majilis.
