Senate approves amendments to legislation on stock market development

ASTANA. December 28. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Senate of the Kazakh Parliament adopted the Law "On amendments to some legislative acts of Kazakhstan on the issue of stock market development" at its Wednesday plenary sitting.
The main purpose of the law is to give Kazakh citizens an opportunity to purchase shares of the leading companies of Kazakhstan, enhance transparency and competitiveness of the largest Kazakh companies, create conditions for the development of the domestic stock market under "People's IPO" Program.
