Senate approves a number of bills

ASTANA. June 16. KAZINFORM – Today the draft laws concerning ratification of the Agreement between Kazakhstan and the EBRD and the Kazakhstan – ADB Loan Agreement have been reviewed at the sitting of the Senate Committee for Economic and Regional Policy, the Senate press service informed.
The Committee also studied the bill on amendments to the private entrepreneurship acts of Kazakhstan which is supposed to enhance the public regulation and control and reduce administrative burden of private businesses and stimulate law-abidance among private businesses. The bill envisaged inserting amendments to 72 legislative acts including 7 codes and 65 laws in order to unify the rules and procedures of inspections and other forms of control of private business entities.
Adoption of the bill will allow to reduce the overall number of inspections and administrative pressure on private entrepreneurs, and therefore foster the social and economic development of the country.
