Senate adopts law on Kazakh-Russian coop in preventing emergency situations

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Today the deputies of the Kazakh Senate adopted the law "On ratification of the Protocol to the Agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Russia on cooperation in preventing and responding to industrial accidents, disasters, natural hazards, and mitigation of the consequences as of March 28, 1994 on simplified procedure of crossing the state border by rescue services."
Representing the draft law acting Emergency Situations Minster noted, it is purposed to establish a legal platform for ensuring streamlined procedure for crossing the state border by rescue services and organizations in order to prevent and respond to emergency situations.
