Senate adopted Code "On Customs Affairs in Kazakhstan"

ASTANA. June 10. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Senate of Kazakhstan Parliament has considered in two readings and adopted the Code "On Customs Affairs in Kazakhstan" at its plenary sitting today.
"The Code has been elaborated to bring national customs legislation into compliance with the Customs code of the Customs Union", Minister of Finances Bolat Zhamishev said representing the bill.
According to him, the new Code reduces number of documents required for customs declaration from 10 to 3 ones. Customs clearance and customs control of the goods imported from the CU states and the imported goods which have already been given the status of the CU products are abolished.
