Security Council considered implementation of Law “On foreign intelligence”

TANA. October 27. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The issue on practical implementation of the Law "On foreign intelligence" has been considered at a session of the Security Council chaired by President Nursultan Nazarbayev at Akorda.
There was outlined importance of activity of intelligence agencies for ensuring national security of Kazakhstan, early detection and prevention of external terrorist and extremist threats.
The President estimated work of intelligence bodies of the country, pointed out the current problems and defined main directions of improvement of their activity.
Following the results of the discussion the President gave the corresponding instructions to the Government and other state bodies.
